Conference Tracks

The conference will include four tracks (Policy, Experience, Research and Business) that are explained in detail below, with 5 sessions of 90 minutes and a keynote speaker. EMOOCs 2014 will also offer a series of workshops, meetings and the tutorial All you need to know about MOOCs, which will address the following questions and current trends based on a wide variety of examples and practical experience reports:
  • What is a MOOC?
  • How does it work?
  • Why offer a MOOC?
  • What is the MOOC-hype about?
  • Are there downsides?
  • Which players and business models are around?
  • How to plan, produce and run a MOOC?

Policy Track

The advent of MOOCs raises new questions and challenges in terms of higher education policy. Read more
